Aṭavi, the lord kiḻavaṉ of Tiruppālaiyūr in Perumpālaiyūr in the district kōṭṭam of Ūṟṟukkāṭu, after having made request to the glorious Gaṅga king, the lord perumāṉār Nērkuṭṭi, the sluice tūmpu named Kumāṟavāy that he had made.
