Paṉaiyaṉār of Ciṟṟupāṭi, the servant <supplied reason="subaudible">of</supplied> Perum-pāṇāti-y-araicar, the king <supplied reason="subaudible">of</supplied> Kōvalūr in Mīvēṇṇāṭu, fell when seizing sheep <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>maṟi</foreign><note><ptr target="bib:Mahalingam1988_01"/><!--Display issue: not displayed--> considers Maṟi as the second part of the name of the deceased hero, that is, Paṉaiyaṉār Maṟi.</note></supplied> <supplied reason="subaudible">and</supplied> cattle.
