DHARMAbase A group of two verses praising the architect of the temple. Both verses follow one another, separated by a space left unengraved, on the top of the plinth/base on the southern face of the Vimāna and Ardhamaṇḍapa.

Thus arose in this village this great building, renowned by its name and by its type, thanks to the great Parameśvara who resides in the glorious Pāṭaka, who is a learned and always eloquent architect takṣanLiterally: carpenter. and is the sun of architecture, as well as thanks to many others in the village acting in accordance with the tradition āgama and endowed with practical knowledge.

The ornaments and measurements of this temple as well as its characteristics, whoever knows/masters them fully is really the best among those knowledgeable in architecture.

Celui grâce à qui naquit ainsi ce grand édifice, En ce village, avec l’aide de nombreux spécialistes, œuvrant selon la tradition et doués d’une expérience, pratique, Celui-là, habitant de l’illustre Pāṭaka, architecte à l’intelligence accomplie et toujours éloquent, C’est le grand Parameśvara, le soleil de l’architecture.

Il devint l’ornement de ce monument, Puisque quiconque, en même temps que les signes, Connaît l’ensemble de cette science Est vraiment le meilleur des architectes.

Ainsi fut créé un grand édifice, célébré pour son nom et sa classe, dans ce village, par des bien des gens, avec dextérité et selon les āgama et, par cet architecte takṣan résident de Pāṭaka, intelligent et au verbe sûr, le Grand Parameśvara, soleil de l'architecture vastu.

Les mesures māna et les ornements alaṁkāra de ce temple, en conformité avec les définitions lakṣaṇa; qui les comprend toutes est vraiment le meilleur des connaisseurs en architecture vastu.
