Id-dharmmam rakṣittār kāl eṉ muṭi mēlaṉa

In 's edition two symbols are printed, apparently reproducing what is visible on the stone and looking like 100 and 1. notes: This symbol probably stands for the figure 736. As 736 kaḻañcus is a very unusual amount, an alternative reading could be: {symbol=36} Eḻuttu. The word eḻuttu would be preceded by the figure in symbol and by the same figures in letters.
