When Cākāṭāc Ciṟṟaṉ, who resides irunta vāḷum in Eḻumāttūr in KoṅkamThat is, Koṅkanāṭu. seized buffaloes in Puḷiyūr in Mīkoṉṟaināṭu, Cākāṭāc Ciṟṟaṉ fell when running for battle, fighting in Maṇikkalavaṭavūr in Mēlvēṇāṭu and liberating buffalo cattle.

The record is not clear about the connexion of both actions of Cākāṭac Ciṟṟaṉ, the first in Puḷiyūr in Mīkoṉṟaināṭu and the second in Maṇikkalavaṭavūr in Mēlvēṇāṭu. understands that he first fought at Maṇikkalavaṭavūr and then died at Puḷiyūr.
