Tiruvāymūr, Tyagarājasvāmin temple, time of Varaguṇa, year [lost] author of digital edition Valérie Gillet Emmanuel Francis DHARMA Paris, CEIAS DHARMA_INSPandya00507 DHARMAbase

Tyagarājasvāmin temple, Tiruvāymūr, Tirukkuvaḷai taluk, Nākappaṭṭiṉam district. On the southern base of the main sanctuary, starting on the south-west corner; regnal year lost of Varaguṇa Mahārāja. This unpublished inscription is the first inscription of a series of epigraphs which were copied after the 11th century. It is followed by an inscription probably dated with a Pallava regnal year ( potta is legible, referring probably to Nantippōttaraiyar of whom we often find inscription where the Pāṇḍyan gives).
