Prosperity! Fortune!

This is the second year of king Parakēsari-paṉma.

We are the assembly sabhaiyōm of Cattaṉūr, a brahmadeya on the south bank of Tiraimūr-nāṭu.

After the land for the Mahādeva of Tiruvāvaṭutuṟai was sold as tax-free land iṟaiyiḻicci viṟṟu-k-kuṭutta to Caṅkayaṉ Oṟṟi –a member of the Ātittapaṉma-terinta army kaikkōḷar and who was endowed ceyta with a coconut garden of a thousand trees āyiravaṉāḷ–, four s of our general land potunilam in our village, Miṟṟalan-kuṭi, were stipulated ceyyum as long as the sun and the moon last.

The boundaries of the land are to the west of the Uṭciṟu channel vāykkāl, to the north of the Kāmakkāṇi Kumaraṉaṅki land , and to the south of the Pāratāyaṉ Nāraṇanaṅki land. These are the four contiguous boundaries of the land that we, the assembly of Cattaṉūr, have sold as land for the flower garden of the temple nantavāṉappuṟam.

The protector kāccaṉ i.e., Caṅkayaṉ Oṟṟi of the thousand coconut trees teṅk' āyiramum took the produce pōkam of hundreds nūṟu nūṟu of coconut trees and built ceyyavum vaiccu the existing flower-garden, which was previously this field piṉp-ic-cey .

That is under the protection of the panmāheśvaras.
