         		We, the <foreign>civappirāmaṇar</foreign> <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>śivabrāhmaṇas</foreign></supplied> that belong to the 30-day service <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>muppatu vaṭṭam</foreign></supplied>, <supplied reason="subaudible">are now</supplied> owners of the land of the temple of this god <supplied reason="subaudible">agreed with</supplied> village officials <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>ūr mutalikaḷ</foreign></supplied> of Cōḻakulavalli Nallūr, land managers <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kaṭavār</foreign></supplied>, royal accountants <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>irāca kaṇkāṇi</foreign></supplied>, śaiva ascetics <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>śrīmākēcurar</foreign></supplied> and <supplied reason="subaudible">those belonging to</supplied> the Lord Āticaṇṭēcuratēvar of the temple of  god Tirukkaṇṇicuram-uṭaiyār, <supplied reason="subaudible">being the former</supplied> owner <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>uṭaiyāṉ</foreign></supplied>  Meyūr Milaiyaṅkiḻāṉ Aḻakiya Tirucciṟṟampalam from Cōḻakulavalli Nallūr and Maṉṟil Kuṉikkum Perumāṉ, <foreign>alias</foreign> Apimāṉa Tuṅka Pallavaraiyar.

         		In the endowment <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kaṭṭaḷaiyil</foreign></supplied> for god Tirukkaṇṇicuram, it is said that land is given <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>v-iṭṭa nilam</foreign></supplied> so that the ownership of the land <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇi-y-āka nilam</foreign></supplied> made in the name <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>tirunāmam</foreign></supplied> of this deity is a right <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇi</foreign></supplied> <supplied reason="subaudible">now</supplied> given to them, who have undertaken the endowment <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>upaiyaṅ koṇṭa</foreign></supplied> after they bought <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>pakkal</foreign></supplied> it from us for the festival <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>canti</foreign></supplied> of Paḻiyil Pukaḻāḷaṉ, that is, the ceremony of waking up <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>tiruppaḷḷi eḻucci</foreign></supplied> this god.
         	</p>
         	
         	<p n="6-8">
         		Today, being the 13th year, the land which is sold <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>vilaikoṇṭa</foreign></supplied> becomes property <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇi</foreign></supplied> in the name <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>tirunāmam</foreign></supplied> of this god. The land is bought <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>pakkal</foreign></supplied> by land-owners <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>uṭaiyār</foreign></supplied> including <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>uḷḷiṭṭār</foreign></supplied> Villavaṉ Viḻupparaiyar. 
         		<supplied reason="subaudible">This land has the following boundaries:</supplied> the west border is to the west of the fourth <foreign>mā</foreign> of land, that is, a former <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>paḻam</foreign></supplied> property <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇi</foreign></supplied> in the name <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>tirunāmam</foreign></supplied> of this god;
         		the east border is adjacent to the sixth <foreign>mā</foreign> of land; the northern boundary borders a plot of land <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>cattiram</foreign></supplied> that starts in the sixth channel <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>aṟāṅ kaṇṇāṟṟu</foreign></supplied> to the north of the Maturāntaka channel <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>vāykkāl</foreign></supplied>, west of the Cōḻakulavalli cross channel <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>vati</foreign></supplied>. 
         	</p>
         	
         	<p n="9">
         		The land that is given <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>v-iṭṭa</foreign></supplied> so that the ownership <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇi</foreign></supplied> in the name of this god becomes property <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇiyāy</foreign></supplied> of them, that is <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>āy</foreign></supplied>, a land that from the center to the east is one <foreign>mā</foreign>.	
         		
         		A land sold <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>vilai koṇṭa</foreign></supplied> so that the property rights in the name of god <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>tirunāmattukkāṇi</foreign></supplied> become the property rights <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>kāṇi</foreign></supplied> of them, that is, the land which is in the central region <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>naṭuvupaṭṭa</foreign></supplied>  to the east of one <foreign>mā</foreign>.
