Prosperity!

...

...

So that there be a livelihood for the recitation of the Mahābhārata in our village, so that we, the members of the great assembly, are appointed/due to give whatever taxes coming for this land, so that this livelihood for the recitation of the glorious Bhārata remains as long as the moon and the sun, having made this stone inscription, we have given, we, the members of the great assembly.

The one appointed to recite two times in the Tiruvaiyyōtti in this village the purāṇas, including the glorious Bhārata and the glorious Rāmāyaṇa, will enjoy this livelihood.

Listening to the orders of the honourable ones of the great assembly, I wrote this, I, Koṟṟavapōttaṉ Kaṇṇālaṉ Śrīmāyavar, the madhyastha of this village.

These are my hand-writing.
