I have inscribed it in stone after pouring water over the sacred feet of the goddess Āḷuṭaiya Nācciyār. I, Vāṇarāyapēraiyaṉ, alias Kōvaṉ Vaḷaiyamaḻakiyāṉ, am the one declaring this:
“Let the sin of killing one thousand tawny cows on the banks of the Ganges fall upon whoever violates it,” which is under the oath
