So that there be a cōtaṇa-kāṇi there is a land that has been given.

So that there be a cōtaṇa-kāṇi, we have given as long as the moon and the sun seven mās ... we, the temple officers.

This short inscription contains no date at its beginning. It is inscribed on the bottom part of the pilaster left of zone D of inscription Tiruvāvaṭutuṟai 10009 (ARIE/1924-1925/B/1925/104) and appears, by its location, to be connected to this inscription Tiruvāvaṭutuṟai 10009.
