sidha bohikāvihārakāa therāna bhayatahaghāna Atevāsisa kanhasirisa salohitāE ca sabudhajāya deyadhama Amapitūhi ca savasana ca hitasughatha

sidha siddha bohikāvihārakāa bahilavihārakāna who comment: The name of the monastery is not entirely clear. A reading baḍ(h)ayivihāra cannot be ruled out; baḍha-° is more likely than baḍa-°. This is the only name of a monastery identifiable in the inscriptions from Kanaganahalli. The “bodhikavihāra” (MASI, p. 324b) does not exist. therāna therāa bhayatahaghāna bhayata haghāna Atevāsisa Atevāsisa deyadhama deyadhama Amapitūhi Amāpi savasana ca hitasughatha na This tentative reconstruction, based on the parallel in KnI0008 — with which this inscription also shares the rare compound Amāpitūhi — is consistent with the number of missing akṣaras.
