svasti śrī cōḻamahārāju maganṟu Aravaḷamahā diprakhamu

Salutation! Aravaḷamahā[...], son of Śrī Cōḻamahārāju [...].

The text follows the edition of J. Ramayya Pantulu (331-332602) in absence of a picture. The dots used in the edition to indicate lost or unintelligible characters can not clearly be attributed to a certain quantity of characters (one dot may indicate one or more lost or unintelligible characters). The Annual Report informs us that the inscription was found on a hero stone and states that it [s]eems to record the death of another hero called Ara[va]ḷa-Mahēndra Raṭṭaguḍi, a subordinate of Chōḻa-Mahārāja82.

The inscription was noted in the Annual Report (B/1917798) with a summary of the content and edited by J. Ramayya Pantulu (331-332602) without translation. K. M. Sastry, while relying on J. Ramayya Pantulu's edition, gives the following summary: Mentions Aravaḷa, son of Cōḻamahārāja.333.
