ll. 1-4.K. M. Sastri edits this inscription together with another one (see commentary) and counts the lines continuously. I have adjusted the lines in order to avoid confusion. Lines 1-4 correspond to his lines 21-24. Seem to refer to the construction of a tank (called or at ?) Gommalōviḍi, big temples for Gods, and flower-garden, and food-offerings (as) pogara (pongara ?) and kuḍumu for (the God) Śrī viḷēvani. ll. 9-10. To (the temple of) Śrīśa (i.e. Viṣṇu, Lord of Lakṣmi), land sowable with two puṭṭis of paddy in these villages; land sowable with five puṭṭis of paddy in the village of Vitpaṟṟu. l. 11. So long as the Moon and the Sun exist . . l. 12. Those who obstruct this (incur the sin of killing). ll. 13-14. Brahmins and thousand cows in Benares . . .

The inscription is found on the same stone as the one in 208-209584. The text follows the edition of K. V. Subrahmanya Ayer in 209585 in absence of a picture. The dots used in the edition to indicate lost or unintelligible characters can not clearly be attributed to a certain quantity of characters (one dot may indicate one or more lost or unintelligible characters).

The inscription was noted in A. R. No. 147-A of 1899 and first published by K. V. Subrahmanya Aiyer without picture and translation (209585). Korada Mahadeva Sastri reprinted the text (with a few mistakes) and provided a summary and partial translation (28610).
