The akṣaras are characteristic of the seventh century with long ornamental descenders.

bhaktyā bhagavataś śambhor mmātāpitror anujñayā sthāpitañ citrasenena liṅgañ jayati śāmbhavam·

Victorious is the liṅga of Śambhu having been installed by Citrasena with devotion towards Lord Śambhu and with the permission from his parents.

This inscription is identical to three inscriptions, viz. K. 116, K. 122 and K. 1338. The restitutions in pādas c and d are based on these inscriptions.
