treizième jour de la lune croissante de Bisākh, année du Tigre - la deuxième du cycle décimal. L'ère du Seigneur avait atteint deux mille plus quatre cent

et trente-trois ans; quant aux mois écoulés, ils furent au nombre de onze, et les jours de vingt-huit.

L'édification du sanctuaire eut lieu sous le règne de notre auguste Seigneur portant le nom de Rājāvatī, à savoir trente-deux ans après qu'il avait obtenu la capitale et la Fortune royale.

Lors, Ok Ñā Jhūk chef de service puis Som devint Chef des Corvéables, les Cau Mīoeṅ Nāyak,

Nai, les Anak Bañā Vaṅsāmārgā, An, Am Kaṅ et Ok. Sa Majesté tête du pays, à l'intérieur et dans les provinces, à la droite du souverain, quotidiennement.

Ô, gens de mérite! Veuillez donc écouter le récit véridique concernant ce sanctuaire. Aucune personne étrangère ne l'avait conçu

hormis moi-même. Pourtant, en dépit de mes peines, je ne l'aurais pas exécuté de si tôt, amis, sans votre aide financière:

Vous avez manifesté un enthousiasme indescriptible lorsque vous ameniez or et argent, de partout, pour édifier la statue du Seigneur et ce sanctuaire, visant à atteindre le Ciel et le nirvāṇa.

Ô, compatriotes! Que nous soyez Jī, Cau, , Ok Ñā , votre contribution vous a gagné des mérites, lesquels constituent le véhicule qui nous transportera, tous,

vers l'autre rive, en emmenant avec nous les membres de nos familles, nos pères et mères, nous maîtres . Qu'on sache que nos vœux sont ainsi !

Mes frères, en m'écoutant relater la fondation de ce sanctuaire, apprenez que cela nous assurera un bon renom, n'avez aucun doute.

Chinois, Annamites, Cambodgiens, hommes et femmes, vous donnâtes vos biens à cette œuvre avec enthousiasme, plaisir, allégresse et grande sincérité. Souvenez-vous-en constamment,

sans relâche, sans négligence, même dans votre sommeil, pensez-y avec ferveur continûment et jusqu'à la fin des temps.

Oh! Les actes du passé avaient déterminé notre rassemblement - entre parents et amis - dans l'érection de cette statue du Seigneur: cela doit remplir nos cœurs d'extrême gratitude.

Comme fruit de cette œuvre méritoire à l'égard du suprême Buddha, nous demandons à jouir .

Nous offrons une part des mérites à nos maîtres qui nous ont instruits .

En échange des bienfaits de nos augustes mères et pères, de nos parents, frères et sœurs profond .
