The lettering is characteristic of the seventh century CE. There are engravings of a blooming lotus and a disc on the lotus on the top of face A. On the top of the fragmentary face B, there seems to be an engraving of a lotus.

In a limited inscribing space, the scribe apparently failed to apply columns to the stanzas II and IV in śārdūlavikrīḍita meter.

The stanza IV mentions the date of the installation of the image of Goddess Caṇḍakātyāyinī. Its French translation by Roger Billard March 01, 1970 is as follows: Les années śaka étant marquées par 536 les cinq flèches, les trois mondes, six, au douzième jour de la quinzaine croissante du mois Kārttika, la Lune dans les Poissons, en dernier décan des Poissons, à l’orient le Scorpion étant au point levant en « maison I », alors a été consacrée .

The Khmer part on Face B is first edited by Saveros Pou (25-26) with a French translation. The Sanskrit part on Face A is first edited by G. Gerscheimer & D. Goodall; re-edited here by Kunthea Chhom based on the estampage EFEO n. 1286.
