This “Mango Grove inscription” written in Thai (Siamese) is very similar in its content with the Khmer-language inscription of the same name. As the latter, it is dated 1283 Śaka (1361 CE). This inscription was first reported by Lunet de la Jonquière in 1912. It was first edited in 1917 by George Cœdès, who published a revised edition and French translation in 1924. It was edited again by Griswold & Prasert na Nagara, with a translation into English. Several editions in Thai have been published (mostly by the Fine Arts Department (Krom Silapakorn) from 1968 until 2005.
