In 857 Śaka, on the 3rd day of the waxing moon of the month of Vaiśākha, the charter of His Majesty to Kaṁsteṅ Añ Śrī Jayavīravarman , to Mratāñ Khloñ Śrī Kavīśvaravarman ordering him: not to use the people at Daṁnaṅ , at Vraḥ Chmā and at Vraḥ Vināya for any other work than conducting the ritual for Vraḥ Kamrateṅ Añ Śivaliṅga at Daṁnaṅ ; to give allowance to Vraḥ Kaṁmrateṅ Añ Jagat VakEk in conformance with the endowment of the yajamāna ; to perform the royal duty at the foundation mūla altogether ; not to demand oil ; not to demand paddy and not to demand castor oil.

The vowels i and ī are often interchanged.

The virāma is not applied to some words such as āya in line 9, aña in line 11 and gussa in line 13.
