Lui qui, connu auparavant sous le nom de Citrasena, fut après son sacre connu sous le nom de Śrī Mahendravarman .

Ayant vaincu tous les pays, il a érigé dans ce pays un taureau de pierre .

He, namely Citrasena, whose royal enthronement was conducted has received another name, viz. Śrī Mahendravarman.

Having defeated all the countries, he, whose firm devotion was in the god with a bull banner Śiva, installed in this country a stone bull.

The restitutions in the two stanzas are based on K. 1280 and K. 1341.

There is probably another stanza before the stanza I as in K. 1280 and K. 1341: naptā śrīsārvvabhaumasya putraś śrīvīravarmmaṇaḥ śaktyānūnaẖ kaniṣṭho 'pi bhrātā śrībhavavarmmaṇaḥ

The estampage BN 328 (36) needs to be checked if there is another stanza after the stanza II. If there is one, it should be like the last stanza of K. 1289 which reads: ṭhamayīm edhām apaya purātanīm· vavandhopalavinyāsair ddamakan damano dviṣām·
