At the time of its discovery in 1931, the stone was broken into several fragments. Some of them might have been used for knife sharpening.

First edited by George Cœdès (647-48) without translation; re-edited here by Kunthea Chhom based on the estampage EFEO n. 848 and the photographs of the stone K689-01 and K689-02.
