About the illegible character, in his edition, G. Cœdès says: "Le caractère non transcrit, qui doit être le premier du nom d'un personnage portant le titre (abrégé) de kaṁ (cf. IC V, p. 22, n. 3 ; VI, p. 186) est net, mais d'une lecture malaisée. Le corps principal ressemble à un j, mais il est affecté à droite, à gauche et au-dessus de plusieurs traits ou signes vocaliques dont la combinaison est déconcertante."
