En 2414 de l'ère de notre Seigneur le Buddha, année du Singe, la quatrième du cycle décimal, le Vénérable portant le nom de Ves a fondé ce monastère d'Ang Ratnametrīy, après avoir atteint l'âge de quatre-vingt-huit ans, et passé quarante-six ans dans l'ordre monastique.

Puis, à la 2455è année de l'ère du Buddha, un supérieur du monastère, dont le nom était Kaev, restaura le sanctuaire en l'année du Rat, quatrième du cycle décimal 1913 de l'ère chrétienne.

L'Ācāry Suddh attaché au monastère, époux de la dame Chim, a noté tous les événements pour conserver le renom de l'enseignement du Seigneur et le fixer à jamais dans la mémoire des gens.

"Tous les deux, dirent-ils, nous souhaitons être, dans les prochaines existences, attachés à la Vertu et au Don sans aucun écart."

"Ensuite, nous formons le vœu de rencontrer le Seigneur Sīāryametrīy lorsqu'il deviendra un parfait Buddha, et d'être sauvés par lui."

There is a phrase in Pali in lines 16 and 17 : nībānnaṁ paccayo hotu "Que ceci soit la condition du nirvāṇa!"
