Venerable Āryadatta.

The three lotus pedestals bearing the inscription are on the pedestal of a seated Buddha statue. The inscription is written on the back of the statue and upside down. As G. Coedès suggests, the name should be the statue's founder's rather than that of the statue and the honorific title pu caḥ Añ is the equivalent de sthavira as attested in the inscription of Vat Prei Veal.

First edited by George Cœdès (669) without translation, re-edited here by Arlo Griffiths & Kunthea Chhom from the estampage EFEO n. 1148 and the photographs of the statue.
