pkavka dikhīḍiṇīThat the kha akṣara is shaped thus is confirmed by its use in the phrase sukha-duḥkha (1v9). Cf. Mantyasih III (2v6) pu kolā ramani dikhi. kr̥snasnaCf. Each of the two plates are inscribed on the one side only; these are denoted 1r and 2r.

In this scribal hand, there is a consistent similarity between the pasangan forms for and yu, which went unaccounted for by Stutterheim. As a result, we often read yu where he read , e.g. we read 2nd person suffix -nyu where he read 3rd person -nyā (2r9, 2r10, 2r13, 2r17). The scribe sometimes adds ornamentation to the virāma, e.g. I tpusan vinkas· (1r24), vidu si majaṅut· (1r25).

This inscription provides the four examples of the otherwise unattested phrase yānaṅvaṁ. From the contexts of its occurence, it must mean the same as yapuAn· hana vvaṁ ("if there is a person"). OJED offers the hypothesis that yāna is an abbreviation of yan ana. We tentatively follow this reasoning by marking the whole phrase as an abbreviation, without taking a firm stance on exactly how the abbreviation is formed. We note that when the word vvaṁ is preceded by the definite article , it is spelled vaṁ. In order to clearly distinguish this from the 1st person pronoun ṅvaṅ, we mark up vaṁ as a non-standard spelling. Our treatment of vaṁ raises an alternative option for yānaṅvaṁ, which is to mark it up as yānaṅvaṁvvaṁ, which we avoid in favour of the simpler first option.

Inanugrahākann: The ṇa is possibly an attempt to correct a botched .

Inaṁsāə:Simple omission of the pepet sign.

dhidhi: Possibly an error for vidhi. Cf. Mantyasih III (2r13): si kudha ramani ḍivi.

hampran·: Stutterheim gives the alternative hampūn, but the Hampran inscription published after Stutterheim’s edition confirms hampran. The descender represents ra, not u (cf. patraṅan in 1v15). Cf. Mantyasih III (2r14): I hampran· kalima si Ina.

dharmma: Cf. Mantyasih III (2v2) dharmī.
