We observe two shapes of <foreign>anusvāra</foreign> in this inscription, with the alternative round shape appearing for instance in 2v5.</p>

<p n="3v2-3v5">Contemplated the reasons for the degree of faithfulness <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>adhimukti</foreign></supplied> <!--the concepts of adhimukti and adhimukti-sattva occur several times in the Mantranaya, probably referring to the sincerity of the 'faith' of initiates.   This has been the situation of the possession from the ancestors: my father, my grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, great-great-great-great-grandfather, great-great-great-great-great-grandfather.<!--Seven generations including the speaker is also a standard way to express something that goes back to time immemorial in Sanskrit sources. Here and in the old sundanese sources (SKK) we seem to have eight generations including the speaker, compare also with Airlangga's OJO 63, 1042.--> 
There is no concrete evidence <supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>suvanda</foreign></supplied>, for this enjoyment has existed from time immemorial. It has for clear evidence the existence of the pious foundation of my ancestors, namely the pavilion at the maṇḍala of Kasəḍahan, dated 919 Śaka, <!--use of sakakala there!--> which name is said to be the "Vayu tree in the middle" (<supplied reason="explanation"><foreign>vayu anəṅah</foreign></supplied>). That dates from the same time as the irrigated rice-field. And moreover, these are no irrigated ricefields of the relatives established at Sīma Tiga beyond the boundary of Pakaṇḍaṅan. It does not yield <foreign>tahil</foreign>, it is not liable to be designated, it should not be used as a tool by the region (deśa).</p>
