The scribe however resume with a repetition of the entire vocalization. adoh apak adohapaR̥ The scribe seems to have started placing a subscript part under the akṣara pa which, if completed, would have turned it into an , but realised he needed to place it below the following akṣara, and thereupon not to have deepened the subscript sign. We might see here a reflection of a two-step engraving process. Alternatively, we may be dealing with an attempt to erase an element after it had been engraved. See note under 5v7. The text must here be corrected to apaR̥k, as is shown by many parallels for this combination with adoh. pagagarəm pagarəm See 4b3 and OJED under padadar and pagarəm.
