It's a tricky one.

On one hand, yes, some users may be in a disadvantaged position now.

On the other hand, they have always known DONUT is a governance token, and they elected to sell their governance for cash. Of course, they can always buy it back.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. 

Personally, I'd be happy to find that middle ground and threw out the idea of calculating from Round 134, which is the first Distribution which occurred on Arbitrum.
