# Slidestorm MCP Server Remote MCP server for creating and posting TikTok slideshows with Slidestorm. ## What this server does This MCP server exposes Slidestorm's API as MCP tools so AI agents can: - generate a slideshow from a prompt - poll generation status - create and manage TikTok posts - check delivery status and retry failed deliveries ## MCP endpoint - Production: `https://mcp.slidestorm.ai/mcp` This is the hosted Slidestorm MCP server endpoint. ## Authentication Pass your Slidestorm API token as a Bearer token in the MCP connection request. - Header: `Authorization: Bearer ` The MCP server forwards this token to Slidestorm API on each tool call. ## Available tools ### Discovery - `list_accounts` - `list_image_styles` - `list_collections` - `check_usage` ### Slideshows - `create_slideshow` - `get_slideshow` ### Posts - `create_post` - `list_posts` - `get_post` - `check_post_status` - `update_post` - `retry_post` - `delete_post` ## Quickstart (Cursor / Claude via mcp-remote) Use your MCP client's config and point it at: `https://mcp.slidestorm.ai/mcp` Then ask: - "Create a 5-slide TikTok slideshow about coffee brewing tips." - "Check slideshow status and post it to my first TikTok account when ready." ## Error handling Most tool errors proxy the same Slidestorm API error envelope, including: - `error_code` - `message` - optional `issues` The MCP bridge can also return local errors such as `missing_token` (missing Authorization header) and `mcp_bridge_error` (transport/bridge failure). Common API examples: `invalid_token`, `slideshow_not_ready`, `insufficient_credits`, `rate_limited`. ## Related links - Slidestorm: [https://slidestorm.ai](https://slidestorm.ai) - API docs: [https://slidestorm.ai/docs/api-guide](https://slidestorm.ai/docs/api-guide) ## Versioning This repository follows semantic versioning for MCP-facing changes. Breaking tool contract changes will be released as a major version.
