The film: `unbroken.mp4` ## How it was made (from the composition's header) ```text CONCEPT — a before/after split. The same hour drawn twice as an ensō, the circle a brush makes in one breath. Left, notifications on: every ping lifts the brush, and it comes down again a little behind where it was — the strokes get shorter until the hour is a tangle. Right, notifications held: one stroke, the whole hour, a finished circle. Then the left falls away, the camera pulls back, and the finished circle is the o in the name. Fictional product (unbroken, a Mac menu bar app that holds notifications). Zero assets; one canvas; every value f(t). t beat moves carries into the next 0.50–1.40 the split a rule draws down the middle; both hours label the two halves 1.40–2.25 both brushes come down two strokes, in step the strokes 2.25–7.12 the pings 17 notifications, quickening; each lifts the left the left tangle, the right stroke 7.40 the hour ends right closes its circle; left: interrupted 17 the finished circle 7.40–8.45 a held breath nothing moves the circle 8.45–9.70 the left falls away fragments drop, the rule retracts, the camera finds the circle the circle 9.70–11.20 the name pull back 1 → 0.15; the circle is the o; letters rise around it the word 11.60–15.00 Finish the circle. the line; the notice; a seal stamps end CAMERA — OM.rig in world space: settles in on the split, holds still through the hour and the breath, finds the circle, then pulls back 6.7× until the circle is a letter. Left-half shake per ping is local, so the right never flinches. PALETTE — ink-black ground, bone-white ink, a cold notification blue, one vermilion seal. ```
