Several households and people with roles, a REST API and an MCP server for Claude and other AI assistants. Set PUBLIC_URL and start it: Ferret makes its own secrets the first time. Then make a key file (Settings, Server, Keys) and keep it off the server: without FILES_KEY, uploaded photos and documents can't be read. Every AI feature is optional and runs on your own models (Ollama, an OpenAI-compatible server, Qdrant, docling): set their addresses under "Show more settings".
