# dsh-task-completion-beep [中文](README.md) A DSH Web plugin that plays five short beeps in the browser when a task is detected to have finished running. ## Features - Generates five 880 Hz tones with the Web Audio API; no audio assets or external runtime dependencies. - Observes the DSH UI for a running-to-idle task transition. - Also responds to the browser `deepseek-harness:task-completed` event if the host dispatches it. - Cleans up its observer and event listener through the Web plugin lifecycle. - Runs only in the browser; it does not access the network or read/write user data. > Browser autoplay policies may affect playback. If audio is blocked before the page has been interacted with, interact with the page and try again. ## Install ```bash dsh plugin --profile web add github:flyhigao/dsh-task-completion-beep ``` Restart `dsh web` and refresh the page. Start a new task; five short beeps should play when it finishes. ### Local development install ```bash git clone https://github.com/flyhigao/dsh-task-completion-beep.git dsh plugin --profile web add file:/path/to/dsh-task-completion-beep ``` Restart `dsh web` after installation. ## Development - DSH host entry: `lib/index.js` - Browser plugin entry: `client/client.js` - DSH bundle manifest: `cordis.patch.yml` The client bundle is hand-maintained and does not require a build step. Check syntax with: ```bash node --check client/client.js node --check lib/index.js ``` ## License [MIT](LICENSE)
