# Assembly and operating note 1. Place the lock bar through the 8 mm guide passage from the rear. Fit the two compression springs over its guide pegs before seating it at the engaged position. 2. Place each named shoulder arm between the yoke cheek plates. Align the 5.6 mm bores, insert the M5 shoulder screws from the rear, and secure the low-profile locknuts without clamping away the specified axial running clearance. 3. Place the hook between its front-layer clevis plates, insert the long shoulder screw from the front of that clevis and through the main front cheek, and secure its locknut behind the rear cheek. 4. Confirm that the rigid lock ears sit directly below both arm heels with 6 mm overlap. The orange lock bar must be visually inspectable through the side and rear openings. 5. To fold, remove garment load, press the recessed thumb pad forward by 7.5 mm, and rotate both arms downward. The cheek plates keep fingertips outside the root sweep. Fold the hook downward in its separate front layer. 6. The intended light folded retention is supplied by spring pressure from the released lock bar against the arm-root side faces and the nested geometry. This is a low-load luggage retention feature only; its holding force requires a physical prototype measurement. The deployed downward load path is: garment → deep shoulder beam → solid heel → 6 mm rigid lock-ear face → linked lock bar → yoke side rails. The thumb pad is recessed and outside the vertical contact patch; it is not a flexible snap or thin release tab. Normal downward or inward clothing load does not translate the bar along Y. The digital model reserves the spring path but omits deformable coil geometry. Springs must be selected after measuring prototype release force and available solid height.
