# MemeOS-v0.1 🖥️

**MemeOS** is a fake web-based "operating system" filled with interactive apps, meme-inspired Easter eggs, and chaotic internet culture references. Built as part of [Hack Club's Summer of Making](https://summer.hackclub.com), this project is both a playground for code and a tribute to the glorious absurdity of memes.

- **Fake Terminal** — Run meme commands like `sudo make-me-a-sandwich` or `shutdown`
- **YouTube** — A "YouTube" app that plays only one thing... You’ll see 😉
- **Among Us Task Manager** — See which sus programs are running 👀 But don’t try to kill critical processes like `memeos-kernel.exe`🤔
- **Skibidi Antivirus** — Detects 100% of skibidi toilets (but maybe not your files)
- **Ohio File Explorer** — Explore meme files and discover hidden surprises
- **Recycle Bin** — Throw away your dignity (or just open it for a funny message)
- **BasedMeter™** — Rate how Based or Cringe you are. NPC detected? Touch grass.
- **RizzAI** — A fake chatbot that gives you terrible (or amazing) pickup lines
- **GTA VI App** — Stuck on an eternal loading screen. Maybe one day…
- **Barnacle Browser** — A SpongeBob-themed browser filled with undersea chaos
- **Secret Konami Code** — Unlock hidden apps, animations, and meme lore (maybe explore the File Explorer...)
- **Password Spinner** - A CS:GO style password generator that opens a "case for every character.
- **You Are Sus** - A fake Among Us-themed virus prank. Windows everywhere. Red is always sus. Your sanity? Gone.
- **Nyan Flyer** - just Flappy Bird... but with Nyan Cat🌈 (try to score more than 10... if you can..)
- **Rick & Morty?** — A mysterious red button that warns you *not* to press it… but you will. Chaos, interdimensional screams, and Pickle Rick energy await. Wubba lubba dub dub!

## 🥚 Easter Eggs

- Try typing the **Konami Code** on the desktop to unlock the Hacker Typer app!
- Some apps react to system time, click patterns, or special usernames...
- Look closely at the **Barnacle Browser**’s top-left corner🪼 and the **Task Manager** 👀
- If you get a BSOD, don't scan any QR codes… or maybe do 😬
- The **You Are Sus** app has hidden shutdown codes: try typing `amogus` or `sus` at the right moment.
- Use the command `open barnacle-browser --incognito` in the terminal..
- Is there any search option in the **file explorer**? Hmm...
