### How to Contribute
- Create a new issue [here](https://github.com/ganeshrvel/openmtp/issues/new "here").
- Assign yourself as the "Assignees".
- Fork the repo and create your branch from the **master** (important!).
- Make your changes.
- Ensure that the changes pass linting.
- Update the documentation if needed.
- Add short, meaningful commit message that describes the change you made to the code.
- Append the issue URL in the commit message.
- Issue a pull request to the **development** branch.
- Add a reviewer.

When you submit code changes, your submissions are understood to be under the same [MIT License](https://github.com/ganeshrvel/openmtp/blob/master/LICENSE "MIT License") that covers the project. Feel free to contact the maintainers if that's a concern.
