All notable user-facing changes to Nanopad will be documented in this file.

This project follows a simple changelog format inspired by Keep a Changelog.

### Fixed
- When a Find or Replace reports that the text cannot be found (or a Replace All completes), dismissing the message box now returns focus to the Find/Replace dialog instead of the main edit window.

- Opening a file from the command line no longer triggers an unrelated crash-recovery window to pop up alongside it, whether the open succeeds or fails. Crash recovery still runs normally on a plain launch (no file argument).

- Crash and shutdown recovery: unsaved text is autosaved and automatically restored after a crash, power loss, or Windows Update restart -- no prompt. Registers with Windows so it is relaunched automatically after an update reboot. Each session is saved to its own recovery file, and when multiple sessions are recovered each reopens in its own window.

### Changed
- Replace Notepad / Restore Notepad no longer show a confirmation dialog before the UAC prompt -- the UAC prompt is the only gate. Declining UAC cancels silently instead of showing an error.

### Fixed
- Replace Notepad now reliably remembers the original Notepad setting so Restore works even after Nanopad is closed and reopened.
