the published snapshot bundle stays immutable. - The two weak-scenario pilots produce scoreable results on both arms; a full held-out re-measurement remains pending a stable provider window and is not presented as a snapshot. - Bumped all declared package and host manifest versions from `2.6.5` to `2.6.7` through `scripts/bump-version.sh`. ## v2.6.5 (2026-08-01) ### Agent-Owned Plan Execution Routing - Planning handoffs now select subagent-driven or inline execution automatically from task shape, available host capabilities, and safe workspace conditions instead of stopping for a routine user choice. - Subagent unavailability now falls back to inline execution. A dirty workspace alone no longer decides the execution route, and user confirmation remains reserved for unresolved authorization, privacy, paid-service, external-side effect, irreversible-action, scope, or safe-workspace boundaries. - Retired the obsolete mandatory execution-choice fixtures and aligned the workflow quality contract with the agent-owned routing rule. ### Lighter Public Benchmark Presentation - Shortened the English and Chinese README benchmark sections while retaining the measured overall contract pass-rate improvement from `60.00%` to `90.00%` and the unsafe-outcome reduction from `11.67%` to `5.00%`. - Reduced the public SVG to those two overall comparison panels and moved Quick Install earlier, so installation guidance is easier to reach. - Kept the detailed sanitized JSON, bilingual result reports, scenario tables, methodology, and limitations as linked evidence rather than duplicating them in the README. The renderer remains the deterministic projection owner. ### Verification And Release Boundary - Corrected the representative Codex smoke prompt so the entry router can load the relevant task-specific skill before the runner asks for a bounded first step; the safety instruction still forbids implementation and file changes. - Reviewed the four manually copied global user-rule projections. No manual re-copy is required because the routing change is owned by the planning workflow and does not change profile-owned activation, TDD-default, authority-priority, or base completion-evidence semantics. - Bumped all declared package and host manifest versions from `2.6.3` to `2.6.5` through `scripts/bump-version.sh`. - This release remains `Aegis Method Pack (runtime-ready)` and does not add authoritative `GateDecision`, `PolicySnapshot`, runtime authority, or completion authority. ## v2.6.3 (2026-08-01) ### Current-Branch-First Git Lifecycle - Made the current branch and workspace the default for ordinary coding tasks; complexity, planning, TDD, subagents, or a `main` / `master` branch name no longer justify a branch or worktree by themselves. - Added a pre-write `TaskStartSnapshot`, coordinator-only Git mutation ownership, task-owned scoped staging, one coherent verified local commit, and explicit task-clean versus repository-clean readback. - Limited branches to genuinely independent histories and worktrees to concurrent checkout or blocking unrelated dirty state; paired temporary resources with creator-owned, evidence-led cleanup. ### Capability-Preserving Context Budgets - Replaced single hard size ceilings with warning targets and larger hard ceilings for high-frequency skills, plus route-bundle budgets for debugging, plan execution, and long-task flows. - Made capability gates precede size gates so required routing, semantic slots, stop signals, owner rules, and discoverable reference triggers cannot be deleted merely to satisfy a byte limit. - Restored the authority fast path, explicit passive `CONTEXT-MAP.md` / `CONTEXT.md` lookup, conditional subagent execution, strict-TDD authorization markers, authority-before-worktree placement, and complete commit-through-handoff stop signals. ### Regression And Distribution Safety - Added deterministic budget-band tests, route-bundle checks, semantic-context assertions, worktree ordering checks, TDD-off contract coverage, and complete integration-stop assertions. - Made the Kimi Code deterministic harness select `python3`, `py -3`, or `python` by verified availability, and made the repository test package explicit so Windows environments cannot resolve an unrelated package named `tests`. - Verified the repaired behavior with the same read-only `gpt-5.6-sol` / `xhigh` pressure scenarios before and after the change; all six repaired decisions are now explicit in the owning skills. - Reviewed all four manually copied global user-rule projections.
