You can also try replacing the "wait xx secs" block with "stop all" below to see what that does. (To do this, just drag the "wait xx secs" block to anywhere on the screen and drag the "stop all" block into place.) Or try it with no time gap block at all!Info about why this works: The "If touching mouse-pointer" block contains the "set mosaic effect to xxx" -- which means that whenever the mouse is touching this owl, it'll reset the mosaic effect to a different number. Adding a time pause between it spaces out that change.Try simply changing the effect of this one, instead of "ghost."
