Privacy Policy – Phase Dark Last updated: August 2, 2026 Phase Dark does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data. The extension itself does not send any telemetry, error reports, crash reports, usage statistics, or other data to the creators. All page theming, color analysis, and dark-site detection happen entirely on your device. Settings, theme preferences, and per-site pause entries are stored only in your browser via Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.sync). If Chrome sync is enabled, these preferences sync between your own devices using your Google account — they are never accessible to us. No browsing history, page content, or personal information is sent to any server. The extension makes no network requests of any kind. There is no backend, no account system, and nothing to sign into. We do not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or third-party data services inside the extension. Any install counts or aggregate usage information visible to the developer come only from the Chrome Web Store dashboard provided by Google, not from the extension.
