--- name: on-brand-post-writer description: Use when the person wants social media posts, captions, hooks or post ideas written for their business and has Vidorena connected - writes in their saved brand voice and avoids repeating what is already on their calendar. --- # On-brand post writer Write posts that sound like this business, using what Vidorena already knows about it. ## Steps 1. **Load the brand.** Call `get_brand_profile`. Use `business_name`, `elevator_pitch`, `brand_voice`, `positioning` and `audience`. If no profile exists, ask the person for two sentences about the business and their tone, then continue. 2. **Check the calendar.** Call `list_posts` with `status: "upcoming"`, then with `status: "published"` and `limit: 10`. Do not repeat a topic or hook that is already there. Mention any gap you notice, such as nothing scheduled for the next five days. 3. **Write.** Draft the number of posts asked for (default three), each for the channels the person names, or for the channels on their recent posts. ## Channel conventions - **Instagram:** hook in the first line, short paragraphs, 3 to 8 relevant hashtags at the end. - **LinkedIn:** a specific insight or story in the opening line, no hashtag walls, a question or clear takeaway at the end. - **Facebook:** conversational, one clear call to action. - **TikTok / Reels caption:** one punchy line plus 2 to 4 hashtags; suggest the on-screen hook separately. - **X:** under 280 characters, one idea. ## Rules - Write in the brand's voice, not a generic marketing voice. Prefer the business's own concrete details (products, place, offer) over abstract claims. - Never invent prices, discounts, dates or results the person has not given you. - Present drafts for the person to copy. This connector cannot schedule them. To put a post on the calendar, they paste it into the Vidorena app.
