# NarutoStormGeneration > ## Project Discontinued / Archived > > **NarutoStormGeneration is no longer under active development, and I do not plan to release any further updates for this project.** > > When I started this project, Xbox 360 recompilation was still a very manual process. A lot of the work had to be researched, reverse engineered, debugged, and implemented the old-fashioned way. > > Things are changing extremely quickly now. > > New projects, tools, and AI-assisted development systems such as **Astro Bot** are making this type of work significantly faster and more automated than it was when NarutoStormGeneration was started. > > I'm personally not the biggest fan of everything moving toward AI-assisted development, but there isn't much point pretending the industry isn't changing. AI is improving constantly, development workflows are changing with it, and at some point you either adapt or get left behind. > > So rather than continuing to spend time maintaining this older approach, I'm moving on and joining that shift. > > There are already newer projects pushing Xbox 360 recompilation forward using these newer methods, and they are improving extremely quickly. > > Thank you to everyone who followed, tested, contributed to, or supported NarutoStormGeneration. The repository will remain available for preservation, reference, and anyone interested in the work that went into it. --- # About **NarutoStormGeneration** is a native Windows recompilation of **Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations** built using a custom **ReXGlue** backend.
