# Things I Learned This Week

* Supima Cotton is a superior/premium type of cotton and is twice as strong as regular cotton.
* Haskell is a purely functional programming language which emphasizes ‘pure’ functions: (1) do not depend on anything other than input parameters (2) cannot have an assignment operator or do input/output → no side effects
* URI (Uniform Resource Indicator) \> Uniform Resource Locator (URL) \& Uniform Resource Name (URN)
