GIVE YOUR AI SOME WIT
Witburrow Starter Companion 2026.11.01-rc1

Use the AI you already have. Bob helps it make one useful checklist, table or reusable prompt, then keeps the result and next step clear.

START
Give your AI the official entry link:
https://www.ijaspers.com/post/witburrow-starter-reference

Say: "Help me try WIT with one small task. Tell me what you actually read and what you can do here. Start with Bob, show DONE, WAITING, UNKNOWN and NEXT ACTION, and give me a resume card if saving is unavailable."

Check which version your AI can actually read there. To use this exact companion, supply the included BOB_ON_DEMAND_2026.11.01-rc1.txt directly, then describe your task. If your AI cannot read attachments, paste the permitted text. Do not assume the entry page and a saved copy contain the same version.

No code, API key, extra account, browser extension or installed skill is required. Your chosen AI host supplies the chat; its own access requirements still apply. Files, browsing, automatic memory and external tools are optional. If browsing is unsupported or fails technically, you may paste permitted text. If access is explicitly denied, stop that retrieval; do not switch routes or paste the denied source to bypass it.

TRY ONE USEFUL TASK
"Bob, make a reusable packing checklist for a fictional one-hour neighborhood cleanup with four volunteers. We already have gloves and bags. The meeting point is undecided. No messages or bookings."

You should get a usable checklist. Creating the checklist is DONE; doing the cleanup is not. Choosing the meeting point is WAITING. Unsupplied facts stay UNKNOWN. The next action should be clear.

SAVE AND COME BACK
Ask: "Give me the resume card." Copy it into a place you control. A card displayed in chat is NOT SAVED by WIT. If your AI has an authorized save tool, it must identify the destination and read the result back before claiming success.

In another chat, paste the card and say: "Resume this task from the card. Check what you can actually read; keep completed work completed." This is a manual handoff, not automatic cross-chat memory. Actual fresh-chat behavior still needs verification for this candidate. If saving failed, keep the card and check the intended destination before trying again.

FIND AN EXISTING TOOL WHEN IT HELPS
https://www.ijaspers.com/post/witburrow-tools
https://github.com/iJaspers/manager-os/blob/main/tools/FIRST_TASK_2026-10-22.3.md
These include source previews and unfinished work. A catalogue entry is not an installed tool. Bob's basic chat workflow does not depend on any of them.

STOP
Say "Stop using Bob." Your existing chat history and saved files may remain. Nothing in this candidate sends messages, changes accounts, starts background work or grants permission to do so.

This is a small companion to the existing stable MOS/Witburrow starter, not a replacement framework release. See RELEASE_NOTES.txt for scope, limits and rollback.
