This license covers two distinct things — the inkField source code, and
the artworks created with it — under separate terms.

1. SOURCE CODE — CLOSED UNTIL MAINTENANCE DORMANCY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The inkField source code, shaders, embedded scripts, and binary assets
in this repository are not yet open for redistribution, modification,
or derivative works. This restriction is a transitional state — when
the author steps back from active maintenance, the full source will be
re-licensed under an OSI-approved open-source license so the community
can continue it freely.

Until that day:

What you ARE welcome to do:
  - View and clone the repository for personal study.
  - Use the published web application for any purpose, including
    creating artworks for sale:
    https://ileivoivm.github.io/inkField/
  - Submit paintings to the public gallery.
  - File bug reports, feature requests, and documentation PRs.

Anything beyond the list above — redistribution, forking as a separate
product, integrating the rendering engine into another application, or
building a derivative codebase — is reserved.

2. ARTWORKS CREATED WITH INKFIELD
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paintings you create using inkField — the JSON recordings, rendered
frames, and resulting images / videos — belong to you:

  - Full copyright belongs to the creator.
  - Commercial use is expressly permitted: exhibit, sell, mint as NFT,
    license, or distribute without restriction.
  - No royalty or revenue share is owed to the inkField project.
  - Attribution ("Made with inkField") is appreciated but not required.

3. GALLERY SUBMISSIONS

By submitting a recording to the public gallery under
`gallery/recordings/`, you grant the project a non-exclusive,
royalty-free license to host, display, and reference your submission
for gallery purposes. You retain full copyright. You may request
removal at any time by filing a GitHub Issue.

4. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

Portions of inkField incorporate third-party libraries under their own
licenses. Those licenses continue to apply to those components:

  - p5.js — LGPL-2.1 (https://github.com/processing/p5.js)
  - p5.easycam — LGPL (https://github.com/freshfork/p5.EasyCam)
  - spectral.js — MIT (https://github.com/rvanwijnen/spectral.js)
  - p5.brush (inspiration) — MIT (https://github.com/acamposuribe/p5.brush)
