X 清道夫 (X Scavenger) — Chrome Extension

1. Data Collection · 数据收集

X 清道夫 does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

This extension operates entirely within your browser. It does not:

❌ Collect your X/Twitter credentials or authentication tokens
❌ Read, store, or transmit the contents of your X timeline, posts, or messages
❌ Track your browsing history across other websites
❌ Use cookies, localStorage, or any persistent storage
❌ Send any data to external servers or third-party services
❌ Include analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting SDKs

2. How the Extension Works · 扩展工作原理

All processing happens locally on your device:

The extension activates only on https://x.com/* and https://twitter.com/* following list pages (/following).
It reads the DOM (page structure) to identify user cells on the following list, and injects checkboxes and a toolbar UI.
When you choose to unfollow users, it clicks the "Unfollow" buttons on your behalf — the same actions you could perform manually.
No data leaves your browser. The list of selected users exists only in memory (JavaScript variable) and is cleared when you close or navigate away from the page.

3. Permissions Explained · 权限说明

Permission	Why it's needed
`scripting`	To inject the toolbar UI and checkboxes into the X/Twitter following page.
`tabs`	To detect when you open a following page and automatically activate the extension. The extension does not read tab content from other sites.
`host_permissions` (x.com, twitter.com)	Required by Chrome Manifest V3 for content script injection on X/Twitter. The extension does not run on any other websites.

4. Third-Party Services · 第三方服务

This extension does NOT use any third-party services, APIs, or libraries that communicate over the network. The only network requests made are those inherent to your normal use of the X/Twitter website itself.

5. Children's Privacy · 儿童隐私

This extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. It does not collect information from anyone.

6. Changes to This Policy · 政策更新

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision date.
