X Post Analyzer is a Chrome extension for x.com (formerly Twitter) that checks your post content before allowing you to submit. All analysis is performed by sending your post content to OpenAI's API using your own API key and system prompt, which are mandatory for the extension to function. These credentials are stored in your browser's Chrome storage and are never sent to the extension author or any third-party server other than OpenAI. This privacy policy explains how the extension handles your data.

- **Post Content**: The extension accesses the content you are composing on x.com (Twitter) in order to send it to OpenAI for analysis.

## How It Works

The extension operates as follows:

2. When you analyze a post, the content, along with your OpenAI API key and system prompt, is sent directly from your browser to OpenAI's API for analysis.
3. No data is sent to the extension author or any server controlled by the author.

## Permissions

The extension requires:

- **Host Permission for X/Twitter domains** (`https://x.com/*`, `https://www.x.com/*`, `https://twitter.com/*`, `https://www.twitter.com/*`): To enable features by interacting with X/Twitter pages locally.
- **Storage Permission**: To save your OpenAI API key and system prompt in Chrome storage for use by the extension.

## Data Sharing

This extension does not:

- Sell or transfer user data to third parties
- Use data for purposes unrelated to its features
- Share data with advertisers or analytics services
- Send any data to the extension author or any server controlled by the author
