Part of the left side of a blue-banded dark gray marble plaque. Both sides are smooth. The beginnings of three lines of an epitaph survive in irregular letters, poorly cut with a point. Lines 1 and 2 seem to begin with personal names; these, and the sides of the stone, suggest that the inscription is an epitaph.
