Slab of white marble.

The slab was probably cut and reused in the paving. The upper right corn is missing, and so is the end of all the four lines: the text, however, can be restored for the most part.

The lenght of the lines is adapted to the present width, showing that the inscription was engraved after the stone has been hewn

Geometric pattern Around the text. Only the central part of the carving survives Cross Incised underneath the script almost exactly at the center of the carved cornice: it was later obliterated, probably during the Muslim period

In this holy place may Euthymia and .. be remembered. Epiphanius wrote (this).
