Θανουμ is the Greek transcription of the Aramaic name תנחום\תנחומא, meaning "consolation."Βενιαμιν is the Greek transcription of the biblical בנימין.Centenarius could be referring to either the grandfather or the actual deceased.Parembole could be referring a settlement in Egypt, one in Palestine, or simply to a military camp. It could be understood as either the place where Benjamin held office or Tanhum's original home.
