Jaffa, 4th-6th century CE. Tombstone. Funerary.

Cream marble slab, smoothed front and rough back, smoothed upper corners; all margins are preserved.

Letters are deeply incised. Alpha's crossbar is slanting upwards from bottom left hasta. Rounded sigma. Vertical bar of upsilon is very short.

Palm branches Beginning (first line, upper left corner) and end (third line, bottom right corner) of inscription.
